Annually, Brown Thomas hosts Create, an event dedicated to celebrating and highlighting Irish designers. This year’s edition began on July 1st and will run until August 25th, with a special showcase taking place at their Grafton Street store in Dublin. The event features a curated selection of emerging designers, including Caroline Duffy, Kindred of Ireland, Emerald & Wax, Urban Aran, and Clodagh Leavy.
As an e-commerce photographer on set, I had the immense pleasure of working on the shoot for Kindred of Ireland – a brand that focuses on creating “timeless pieces with a contemporary edge” using linen crafted with “heritage and heart”, as described on their website.

The beauty of their craft lies in the deep respect and appreciation for Ireland’s linen legacy, brought to life through artisanal methods and meaningful collaborations. It’s a brand that blooms from tradition, creating timeless designs infused with contemporary details – a harmonious fusion of past and present made to endure well into the future.
Founded by Amy Anderson in 2020, Kindred of Ireland is grounded in integrity and a slower, more mindful approach to fashion in a world that constantly demands more and faster. The brand’s commitment is clear: responsible sourcing and intentional design with purpose.

Each piece evokes the Irish landscape in texture, colour, and versatility—anchoring the brand’s identity in the natural beauty of Ireland. This connection was brought to life on set through the soft interplay of light and shadow, capturing the quiet elegance at the heart of their vision.
