The Maiden of Artemis.

Working on relaunching the website has felt like a journey back to the roots—rediscovering why I became a photographer in the first place. What being a photographer truly means to me, and the vision I want to share with the world—one that is, at its core, a fragment of my soul. The ability to capture form and shape through light. A deeper understanding of the world, and the beauty that blossoms through collaboration.

That’s why I thought it would be fitting to begin anew by sharing this side project from 2022: Wishing on the Dandelion, which was selected as the cover for an issue of Artells Magazine.

The Maiden of Artemis is an offering—in form and movement—to the Greek goddess Artemis: goddess of the Moon, the hunt, the dance, and protector of women. She embodies the duality of emotion and resilience. The Maiden of the Wild.

Nature, femininity, and the dance between shadow and light—these elements have always been woven into my art. They are at the heart of my photography, and they live within this project, which remains incredibly dear to me, even as time moves on. These are the very qualities I still strive to cultivate in my work: beauty, creation, and the shadows that allow the light in those I photograph to shine even brighter.

For me, the darker the path, the more radiant the destination.

So let’s dive together into this Dark Reverie—this dreamscape—and step into a new chapter in my career, both as a professional and as an artist.

THE DANCE OF THE MAIDEN.

☾

And she dances under the Moon,

With wildness in her heart,

And untamed mind.

She shines bright with her light.

But don’t be fooled by her eyes,

She may be vengeful

And to cross with a silver arrow your heart.

That is the beauty and also a sign,

That you shall honour and fear

The Mistress of the Animals.
